The church of Santa Maria Assunta is a sacred building located in the locality of Stiava in Massarosa.
The church preserves an interesting fifteenth-century wall ciborium with fluted pilasters surmounted by a double order of cuspidate aedicules which enclose a triangular tympanum with phytomorphic decorations on the frame; the ciborium has a markedly vertical layout which leads us to hypothesize a rather early date.
